What’s on the menu today

Hi I am Colin,

 I am in charge of the main kitchen. You probably won’t see me that often. I have several people who work for me. They are cooks, wait staff and cleaners.  It is my job to supervise the entire menu, order the food, supervise the kitchen  and to ensure the the residents have the right diets.  Sometimes this is a vitamised meal or a puree, sometimes it is a diabetic meal.  Always ask the head carer, or the registered nurse, or look in the communication book if you are not sure what diet a new resident should be having.

 You can help me by making sure that I know what diet regimes new residents are to have.  Telling me when, a resident has gone to hospital, or is away for a few days helps with the ordering.  If you are having a function we would love to cater it for you, please send me an email at least a week before hand so that I can arrange this.  Planning menus and making sure that we have the right quantity and ingredients is a major part of my role.  I can be contacted on 3867 or by email at Colin@regis.com.au.
